Marry Me?

Ahhhh..here comes my first proposal cake! Simpe and "straight forward" design. The wording says it all. I love the fact that she (yes is a she...bravo to the shift!) asked for one cupcake with no design on it so that she can place the proposal ring right on top of it. I dont think he can miss the "bling bling" and just eat the cake hahaha. Am sure this will melt her boyfriend's heart away...how can he say NO? Let's wait for the good news...or her next order shall be wedding cupcakes haha

This also works best for those who dare not express it out in person ;-) Maybe can have 2 more cupcakes - one with a "YES" and another with a "NO"... and see which one outlast.

Floral

A simple floral cake ordered by my colleague for her friend's birthday.  Happy birthday Sally and Pauline...hope you like the cake.

Wedding Anniversary

Sunday, October 24, 2010

Have you ever thought of cupcakes to give to your spouse for wedding anniversary? This customer ordered a couple teddy bear cupcakes to represent her loving hubby and herself in celebration of their 2nd wedding anniversary.  She requested the colour theme to be white, grey and blue. Will cupcakes touches a man's heart the same way like it work on women?? We shall find out soon hehe...

Lovely Hearts

This lovely boyfriend surprised his girlfriend with a cake for her birthday.  I am sure his "honey" will be touched by the surprise.

Sweet Flowers

This customer was looking for something nice with the criteria of having her daughter's favourite colours, pink and purple.  It is always a challenge when a customer gives you an "open option" as you would not know if the output turns out to be something that they'll like.  I tried something new this time by putting some wires on the mini flowers to create some dimensional effect on the cake.

Here comes my baby "teng teng teng tenngg"...Renee's mom was really satisfied with the cake and she immediately called me to place order for the next occasion.

Princess Tiara Cake

Sunday, October 10, 2010

I received a call from Samantha just not long after I reached home from a long business trip. She wanted to order a 2 tier cake for her 7th year old daughter, Ling. I was a bit hesitant to accept the order as I was exhausted from the long trip and havent gotten a chance to catch up my sleep. Didnt have the heart to turn her down, I worked on her order looking really zombified :-0 and at the same time taking the challenge to do my first 2 tier cake.

Samantha was not really sure what design to choose but she wanted something girlish so I proposed to her a princess tiara design.

I was so delighted to see the result and was even happier to receive an SMS from Samantha saying that the cake is so fantastic and her daugher, Ling likes it very much. What can be more satisfying than to see the smiles on the children faces...arrrrr.
