God of Fortune cake for a friend's birthday hoping that he will bless him with more wealth and luck in the year of Rabbit. As the saying goes...ONGGG and HUATTT arrrr!

Happy Clown

This 2 tier cake was for Ian's birthday celebration at his nursery. Nowadays, it's so common for children to have multiple or at least 2 birthday celebrations. Ian told me his friends were all so excited to see his colourful clown cake. Many were fighting to get the clown...I wonder how their teacher dismantle and share out the clown? hehe

Ian's 4th birthday!

My boy was really fascinated by Alvin ever since he watched the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks. He has watched it countless times and yet every time he still giggles by their crazy stunts. His favourite of the 3 is of course Alvin, the mischievous troublemaker.
It's probably Alvin's character has close resemblances to his naughty and playful self. He just never gets tired of talking non-stop, running around, jumping and teasing people....that's my boy!
Here's the cake that he requested to have a year ago! And he reminds me everytime he sees me bake for other people...yaaa that's my long winded boy!

Cant wait to cut his cake so that he can eat ALVIN!

Melody

It has been almost a year since I first started the mini cake. I'm thrilled with the overwhelming response and orders for mini cake are really picking up here...I get to attempt many different 2D and 3Dthemes and designs since then. Mini cake + cupcakes combo are the most popular choice. Probably the tradition of cake cutting still continues despite the growing popularity of cupcakes.

Jing Min's mom had a hard time choosing between her few favourites design from my collections. Finally, she decided to use Melody as the cake topper for her daughter's birthday cake. Jing Min is turning 10 this year. She wanted pastel purple and pink as the theme colours.

Power Rangers

Admit that I dunno much about the Power Rangers...all I know is that they are ordinary people who can turn into powerful superheros and that's about it hehe. Please dont test me what super powers the RED and BLUE Ranger have. I think Sze Liong can answer this question without a pause!

Doraemon

"An An An tottemo da-isuki Doraemon..." this famous theme song kept humming in my mind after each time I hear from the tv advert. For a moment I thought Doraemon has slowly lost his popularity until I received an order to make Doraemon cuppies recently. And to my suprise, the cuppies are for a little girl. Grace's mom ordered Dora design from me last year and she told me her girl was so thrilled. Hope Doraemon also brings the same excitement to her birthday this year!

Happy Birthday Grace!

Mix and Match

I wonder do guys feel touched when they receive cupcakes from their girlfriends? I believe most girls would be swept off their feet...but for guys...I dunno :-) Probably their excitement level cannot be compared with the girls coz it's our nature to "over react" hahaha. The message to her bf is very simple - a birthday wish, a birthday kiss, a temporary miniature NIKON camera (since she hasnt got the money to buy the real one yet!) and the 3 most powerful and important words I Love U.

Sesame Street

Thursday, March 3, 2011

Every year I will surprise my little niece, Andra with a cake for her birthday since I started my home baking business. This year without fail, I made her Sesame St theme mini cake since she has always been a big fan of Sesame St. Time really flies...watching her grow from a little baby to a beautiful girl and now she's 5 already.

Happy Birthday Andra!

Baby Eunice 1st Bday

I have to apologise to some of you for rejecting your order. My full time job was simply overwhelming over the past couple of months...endless arrays of meetings and issues to deal with. 24 hrs in a day seems like insufficient for me...squeezing every little spare time I have to meet my cake orders. Really wished I could take all your orders but with only a pair of hands...no choice, first come first served!

I really love this 2 tier cake...the yellow and blue in contrast with a little touch of pink are so captivating and refreshing. The design was inspired by Eunice's mom from Fisher Price's stacker that Eunice loves to play.

Eunice's parent made this special video for her their bun's birthday. You can view it from the link http://vimeo.com/19911869 . Ahhhhh...it's so warm and touching. Love it! Thanks for sharing it with me.
