Time really flies when you are busy. My schedule was really hectic for the month of February with CNY cakes and cookies, Valentine promotions, bday celebrations in between and not to mention Chinese New Year preparations. As usual, CNY is always the busiest period of the year (for some people) - spring cleaning, shopping, cooking, gatherings and alot of eating!
So what kept me busy for the past 2 mths?? Finally got the time to sort out the picts to share with you all.
Dora the Explorer for a 4yrs old girl. This business has expose me to various new era's cartoon characters which was not known to me before. It's really interesting and challenging at times :-O

My latest attempt to use fondant on mini cake. I made this specially for a friend's birthday. He's born in the year of Ox. You will start to wonder why I added the Owl?? hehehe. Well, owl is known as a "night" bird right?...so is my friend haha!
Devon's birthday falls few days before Chinese New Year, so her mother ordered 12 chinese zodiac sign cupcakes for her celebration. I think it was a fabulous idea!!! Childrens were flocking around the cakes fighting to get their own zodiac sign. Some were disappointed not being fast enough. Hopefully Devon gets her own zodiac..birthday girl should have the priority.
I made this 2D mini cake for my son's bday. He is a fan of spiderman...from shirt to bag and even watch also he wants spiderman. So happy that the little boy loves his cake!
This customer ordered Winnie the Pooh and friends theme cupcakes for her 1 yr old boy, Terreace (yes is spelled correctly). She wanted to put them in 3 tier to make it look grand. Winnie the Pooh and friends are my all time favourite cartoon characters. I love the colour combinations...just so lively.

This simple hearts design were for valentine celebration at my workplace. Each of us were required to buy a gift for their valentine. Few of my colleagues then thought of ordering cupcakes to adore their valentines. Well, my cuppies did manage to captivate their valentine's heart and definitely lifted the bar for their boyfriends / spouses. So to the boyfriends and husbands out there...you should know what to do next time!! :-D
